TheClinicalinvestigationforthetreatmentofhigh-energyTibialfracturewithMIPPOtechniqueABSTRACTObjective:Tocomparetheclinicaleffectofhigher-energytibial fracturestreatedwithcommonbonesettingboardstationarywithopen reductionandinternalfixationandminimallyinvasivepercutaneusplate. (MIPPO)techniquewithLCPbonesettingboardstationaryandprovide clinicalevidenceforthetreatmentofhigh-energyshinbonefractures with MIPPOtechnique.Methods:FromJanuary2008toAugust2010,85casesofhigh-energy tibialfractures whowerehospitalizationandoperated inourhospital wereincludedinthisstudythroughprospectiveanalysis.80patientswere followedup.Thepatientsweredividedintonormalgroupandminimally invasiveprecutaneusplate(MIPPO)technologygroup,41caseswere ordinaryplateoperationgroup,25patientsofplatewereplacedmedial tibial,16patientsofplatewereplacedlateral;39caseswereMIPPO technologygroup,medialmalleolusortipoftheproximaltibialcutof36 patientswereselected.LCP plate wasplacedinthe medialtibia,3casesof softtissuecontusionmedialtibiawereplacedseverelateraltibia.Blood loss,surgicalcomplicationsandfracturehealingtimewereanalyzedin twogroups.JohnerandWruhsfunctionalassessmentofstandardswere utilized.5Results:80patientswerefollowedupfrom8to24months,onan averageof13.4±3.2months.Theoperationtimeofordinaryplatewas 50~120(73.5±10.1)minutesandMIPPOoperativetimewas45~130(75.3±9.8)minutes.Thedifferencewasnotsignificant(P0.05).Mean bloodlossvolumeofnormalboneplategroupwas208.6±16.4ml, MIPPOgroupwas107.4±11.3ml.Differencesaresignificantinblood lossbetweentwogroups(P0.05).Groupofordinaryplatefracture healingtimewas18~28(18.3±4.8)weeks,MIPPOgroupwas10~18 (13.2±3.1)weeks.Thereweresignificantdifferencesbetweentwogroups (P0.05).Complicationrateoffractureinnormalboneplategroupwas 21.95%andMIPPOgroupwas5.12%,thedifferencewassignificant(P0.05).Therewerenotsignificantdifferencesbetweentwogroupsin generalfunctionalassessmentof fracture healing(p0.1 ).Conclusion:1.MIPPOtechnologyofhigh-energytibialshaftfractures comparedwithordinar
