T he res lts show that in the SPHC slab prod ced by the processing ro te of hot metal pretreatment ( des lph rization) ! 120 t top and bottom combined blow n converter ! RH ( Ca treat ment ) ! contin o s casting the total oxygen content and nitrogen content is 23 10- 6 and - 6 17 10 respectively and the chemical compositions of the slab are completely in con formity to the req irements and the amo nt of large incl sions in 10 kg slab is 4. 76 mg, w hich is basically in agreement w ith the cleanliness of the slab prod ced w ith the origi nal process and higher cleanliness of SPHC slab can be achieved by f rther optimizing the RH refining process.
