Ray 2 The 2 m part of the commercial sericite powder m was used in the synthesis of analcime via a hydrothermal N i2+ Mn2+ Cr3+ pr oce sse s. We con du ct ed a sor pt ion exp er im ent s of Sr2+ Ni2+, Mn2+, Cr3+ and Sr2+ on the synthesized analcime. ( 1) Resu lt s showed th at : (1) 24 hr s ar e r equ ir ed for the 24 hr asorption to reach equilibrium . For low concentration (0 .000 1M) solut ion s (0.0001M), the asor pt ion of Cr3+, Ni2+ and Cr3+ Ni2+ Mn2+100 % Mn2+ are almost 100%; Sr2+ is 30%. The low asorption Sr2+ 30 % Sr2+ of Sr2+ is probably due to its large ionic radius. For high 2+ 2+ (0.0 1M) Ni concentration solution s (0.01M), the asorption of Ni , Mn2+ Sr2+ 2 % Cr 3+ Mn2+ and Sr2+ are 2%, Cr3+ is 4%. The high asorption of 4% Cr3+ (2) Cr3+ is probably due to its high valence. (2) The asorption Ni2+ Mn2+ Cr3+ Sr2+ behavior s of Ni2+, Mn2+, Cr3+ and Sr2+ con form to the Langmuir Langmuir model.
