When I was in middle school, I even got 33 scores in my English final examination. It was the first time that my mom was asked to have a talk with my English teacher. She felt ashamed of me very much and didn’t want to say words to me. I felt sorry for my mother and determined to learn English well. Since then, I got up very early to memorize English words and did a lot of practice to improve my English. It became easier and easier for me to learn English. Maybe you can say that my motivation of learning English is my mom. I don’t want to see her disappointed face and even cry for me. I checked the internet that the motivation of learning English were varies. 46.7% of students think the motivation of learning English is for the exams only and 34.2% of students for fun and personal interests. 12.9% for both mentioned above and 6.9% for the future of other reasons. Some people may say studying English can be important to them because it will allow them to be more at ease with other people who speak English, and to meet and converse with more and varied people. Others may say that Studying English can be important for them because it will enable them to better understand and appreciate British art and literature, and to participate more freely in the activities of other cultural groups Now, my motivation, however, is that I want to go abroad for further education. I have to prepare for it from now on, to speak more and write more. Meanwhile, I want to understand English TV, films and songs.
