By the hierarchy analysis , the effect of above indexes to the natural restoration process of degrade Karst forest was studied. T he result showed: the increase of community cover degree was the most fast ( 359毛- 79%) , the increase of community average height ( O. 54 - 7 . 63 m) and spices compose were placed in the middle , the increase of community prominence and biomass( 3. 750 1- 2 80. 904 2 t/ hm ) were slow. It meant that the recovery of community functions got behind w ith the recov- ery of community appearance. T he natural restoration process of degraded Karst forest was a lengthy pro- gress lOn.
