* * * This lesson is about the topic of clothes’ names. By study of this lesson, Ss know how to say the names of clothes in English.And how to ask and answer with the words. The sentence patterns of this lesson: I like to wear jackets at home. We must wear uniforms at school. The study of this lesson will help Ss with daily communication. First, aims on knowledge: 1 Ss can hear, read and use the main sentence patterns in the real situation. 2 Ss can sing the song “Where’s my uniforms?”. 3 Ss can hear, read and say 6 words and spell 2 words. Second, aims on abilities: 1 To develop Ss’ abilities of listening and speaking. 2 To train the Ss’ ability of working in groups. 3 To foster Ss’ ability of communication and their innovation Third, aims on emotion: 1 By completing the task, Ss increase their interest and set up self-confidence in language study. 2 To train Ss to love their life deeply and form a good habit of studying English. In this lesson, I mainly use Direct Method, “TPR” teaching method and “task-based language teaching”. I’ll let Ss learn the words and dialogues with the actions. My purpose: To help Ss to get a better understanding of learning the words and dialogues. I’ll arrange four kinds of activities: Learning words by actions; games; task time and singing. In this lesson, a recorder, CAI, word cards and some kinds of clothes will be needed. Ss understand the new knowledge in certain degree through the metal process of seeing, hearing, saying, observing, imagining, thinking and playing etc. And make preparation for completing the new study task. The key points of this lesson: 1 To grasp the sentence patterns of this lesson. 2 To enable Ss to study in groups and co-operate skillfully. 3 To develop Ss’ interest in English. The difficult points of this lesson: 1 To help Ss ask and answer the questions of this lesson in a real situation. And make sure they can pronounce the name
