After studying the li itations of singlelayer and doublelayer latticed shell and suspendeddo e, this paper focuses on long span ultilayer latticed shell and provides the conception of asterslave latticed shell. Static analysis and econo ic co parison are studied a ong doublelayer shell, triplelayer shell and asterslavelatticed shell with a dia eter of 150 , 200 and 300 respectively. The analysis indicates that singlelayer latticed shell is not reco ended but doublelayer and asterslave latticed shell are reco ended if the dia eter is ore than 150 . Doublelayer latticed shell saves in weight but so e bigger bolts are costly due to exceeding nor al size if thedia eter is ore than 200 . In this case, triplelayer latticed shell is suitable with the advantage of e ber s shorter length, bigger global rigidity, lower peak value of internal force, s all di ension of e ber cross section and bolt bolt sphere.
