Comprehensive Evaluation for Design Scheme of Traction Power Supply System

Abstract: The scheme choice of traction pow er supply in electric railw ay concerns many qualitat ive and quantitative
factors, and is a complex and fuzzy multiple attribute decision problem. Based on design principle of tract ion power
supply system, the layer index system for scheme optimization is established. An improved comprehensive evalua
tion method based on analytic hierarchy process (AH P) and technique for order preference by similarity to ideal so
lut ion (T OPSIS) is presented. First, the index w eight is calculated by the definition of the attribute significance
based on the w eighted sum. Then, the aut horit y and decision consistency of experts are unif ied by group decision
making . Finally, vert ical distance is proposed and the order of priority of all schemes is given according to it. Tak
ing an under construction passenger dedicated line for example, the analysis show s t hat the method feat ures clear
theory and bett er generality , it is an efficient decision method used in scheme optimization of traction power supply.
