尊敬的老师们，亲爱的同学们，大家早上好（鞠躬）。 Good morning, dear teachers and students. 我演讲的题目是《今天是奋斗的起点》。 My topic is today is the starting point of endeavor! 昨天带着回忆默默地逝去了，今天携着希望悄悄地来临，而明天，又闪烁着光辉等待着人们， Yesterday,is quietly passing away with memories, while today is coming carrying the hope peacefully , and tomorrow, is shining glory waiting for us. 有人沉浸在回忆中，他们依恋昨天，有的人只迷醉在梦幻中，他们企盼明天。 Immersed in memories, someone attaches yesterday, and some people just fascinated in a dream, they are always looking forward to tomorrow. 而这两种人，都忘记了最应当珍视的是宝贵的今天。 And these two people have forgotten the most cherished should be valuable today. 有的人会说：“今天，不就是短短的一天么？我明天开始勤奋学习。” One would say: Today is too short a day , without it I would study hard from tomorrow 有些人是这样想的，也是这样做的。日月匆匆，今天之后又有无穷无尽的明天。那么，你的决心，你的理想，哪一天才能变为行动，变为现实呢？ Some people think so, but also to do so. Time goes by.After today there are endless tomorrow. But what about your determination, your ideal. When will it turn into action and come into a reality? 莎士比亚说：“抛弃时间的人，时间也会抛弃他。”我说：“抛弃今天的人，今天也会抛弃他，而被今天抛弃了的人，他也就没有了明天。” Shakespeare said: He who abandons time, will be abandoned by time . I said: Once people discard today, and today will throw over him. People who was discarded by today , will never ever have tomorrow. 抓住了今天，就是抓住了掌握获取知识的机会。聪明、勤奋、有志的人，他们深深得懂得时间就是生命，甚至比生命还宝贵。他们决不把今天宝贵的时光虚掷给明天。 Hold today, is to seize the opportunity to acquire knowledge . The clever, the diligent and the aspiring know deeply that time is life, and even more precious than life. They will never squander the precious moments today to tomorrow. 相反，对于有些人人来说，时间就像日历，撕了这张，还有下一张，撕完了这一本，还有下一本。如果这样，他们一生消逝的岁月将如一场凄凉的悲剧，留在个人生命史上的回忆，也将拌和着悔恨、痛惜和哀伤的泪水...... Instead, for someone ,time is like a calendar. tear this, as well as the next one, torn over the present, as well as the next book. If so, their life will fade away like a bleak years of tragedy, the history of their life left in the personal memories, will also be mixing with remorse, regret and sorrow tears ...... 虚掷光阴，在折损着生命的
