SUNY- Buffalo (Medial / Health Informatics) Upon completion of this certificate program, students will be prepared to work in information related positions in health care, health sciences research, or education settings, and have the ability to evaluate, manage, and develop a wide range of informatics projects The program is designed for students who have completed an undergraduate or graduate degree in a field related to informatics, and for professionals who have completed or are completing medical or other healthcare training. SUNY- Buffalo (Medial / Health Informatics) The faculty is based in schools and departments throughout UB, from clinical departments to engineering and philosophy. Students will benefit from the diversity of the facultys expertise and experience. Students with varied backgrounds will be encouraged to apply. We anticipate interest not only from UB students in one of the related and participating departments, but also from working professionals SUNY- Buffalo (Medial / Health Informatics) Course Requirements requires 20 credit hours of coursework 14 Required Hours 6 Hours of Electives These may include additional selections from the University at Buffalo Advanced Certificate in Medical/Health Informatics elective courses or any other graduate-level UB course approved by the students faculty advisor.
