广东金融学院 2009-JX16- 孔灶银 本科毕业论文（设计） 关于英汉谚语及其文化差异的研究 摘 要 谚语是人民生活实践的总结；是千锤百炼、生动简洁的语言；是人类智慧的结晶；是各国民族的精神财富和文化遗产。谚语内容广泛、言简意赅、生动形象、通俗流畅，它深刻地反映了各国不同历史时期的社会制度、风土人情和生活哲理等。但由于地理位置、自然环境、种族渊源、历史变迁、宗教信仰和经济发展不同，各民族都形成了自己特有的文化。文化差异在很大程度上决定了语言的差异，语言的差异又会反映到谚语中。通过英汉谚语的对比学习，我们能更好地了解不同民族文化的特殊性，掌握本民族的文化与其他民族文化其的差异，以便在现代科技飞速发展、经济全球化、世界大融合的今天能顺利地实现跨文化交际。 关键词：英汉谚语； 跨文化交际； 文化差异 Abstract It is well known that the proverb is the life practice summary with long history for different countries. It is also the repeatedly tempered and vivid succinct language, the crystallization of human’s wisdom and the nationalitys spiritual wealth and the cultural heritage as well. The content of the proverb is wild-spread with brief, vivid and popular meaning which can vividly reflect different social systems in different historical periods, the local conditions and social customs and the life philosophy and so on. But because of the differences in geographical positions, the natural environment, the race origin, the historical vicissitude, the religious belief and the economic development, the various nationalities have formed their own unique culture. The cultural differences had decided to a great extent the language differences of the English and Chinese proverbs and the language differences will reflect to the proverb. By comparing study of the English and Chinese proverbs, we can better understand the specificity of different cultures and master the nations cultural differences so as to realize cross-cultural communications under the circumstance of rapid development of modern science and technology, economic globalization, and integration of the world today.
