The rapid development of e-commerce brings much convenience and a big security risk as well to the people. Therefore，network security problems increasingly attracts wide attention and becomes the focus in studying the network technology. USBkey widely used in e-commerce is a USB interface of intelligent encryption hardware store equipment，it provides data encryption/decryption，data integrity，digital signature and access control to ensure the safety of online transactions. This paper describes its composition of hardware and software，functional implementation，and security problems. These could help people understand the principle and implementation of USBKey technology, including how to protect the e-commerce security.
