To accomplish this, LBCC has instituted a number of programs and procedures that include engineering controls for hazards whenever feasible, hazard assessments, and employee safety training to mitigate accidents and injuries.When an employee is exposed to a hazard from a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which is six feet or more above the lower surface, he/she shall be protected from falling by the use of guardrails, a safety net system, or personal fall arrest systems.
