Finally, I would like to express my appreciation to all the writers whose works are referred to in this thesis. 摘 要 英语介词是组成句子和文章的重要韧带之一，在英语中占有十分重要的地位，而简单介词又是所有介词中用途最广泛、最频繁的一类介词。简单英语介词具备强大的语法功能和时态意义,又可使表达生动、简练,介词。ABSTRACT Preposition in English is one of the key connections of sentences and articles so that it plays a fairly important role in English learning, meanwhile, simple preposition is a more useful and active kind than the others. Simple preposition, which has important grammatical functions and temporal significance, can make expressions of translated text vivid and concise. Therefore, the translation of the preposition is a complex and difficult work for translators. This paper starts with studying grammatical features of preposition, and then proceeds to explore the translation strategies of preposition: conversion, amplification, deconstruction, omission, reverse translation.
