* * * * * * * * * * * * We have discussed the new significantly shorter cable and cord length requirements and how we used MDM and other technology to get there. Let’s now take a look at what these new shorter requirements mean to customers when deploying a 6A infrastructure. Here we are showing two common LAN architectures. The first is a 4 connector channel with a cross connect, a consolidation point and an information outlet in the work area. With our shorter cable and cord requirements, customers can now build 4 connector channels as short as 14m as seen here – shorter than the cable requirements were previously. In our second example we have a three connector channel like the 4 connector above but minus the consolidation point. With our shorter cable and cord requirements, customers can now build 3 connector channels as short as 9m as seen here. Each of these examples shows the new level of design freedom that customers can expect from deploying a GigaSPEED X10D solution in their LAN environment. In this third data center example we are showing a 2 connector channel in only 5 meters.
