让学生“动”起来,使课堂“活”起来 ——The Spring Festival一课的教学设计 上海市南湖职业学校 徐素琴 背景介绍 近年来,中等学校所招收的学生大多数自我约束能力较差,学习积极性不高Collocation Match the color and the meanings it stands for Game-fast Naming Name the things people usually use to celebrate the Spring Festival. Decoration Decorate the classroom with the things people usually use to celebrate the Spring Festival. 说明:这一环节,一是用颜色配对导入新课。二是通过游戏,快速说出人们用于庆祝春节的相关物品。三是用这些富有中国“红”特色的物品装饰教室,营造和谐、愉快的教学环境。这些实物的布置一方面使同学们如置身焕然一新的家中迎接新年的到来;另一方面又可作为完成本节课的教学任务的表演道具。 While-teaching PPT-teaching ● Teacher show the new words and phrases which are relative to the Spring Festival, help the students read them and then ask students to read them aloud together. ● Ask students to speak out the relatively representative meanings of the things, write them on the blackboard, such as: 1.春联给人们带来吉庆、祥和、幸福; 2.红包是长辈送给小辈,祝福子孙岁岁平安; 3.鞭炮可以驱除邪恶;等等。 ● Translate the sentences into English and show them on PPT: 1. The couplets can bring us luck and happiness; 2. The red envelopes are given by the elders to the children to wish them safety and health; 3. The firework can ward off the sprits; etc.. ● consolidation- question answering Question: Why people use couplets/red envelopes/firework during the Spring Festival? 说明:这一环节用PPT演示文稿,将春节庆祝用品的图片及其相对应的英语表达一一呈现给学生,反复操练,让学生熟练地掌握这些物品的英文表达。然后,让学生说出这些物品的喻义,写在黑板上,并用PPT展示其英语译句,同时通过一问一答的巩固练习让他们记住这些表达法。 Flash-teaching ● play a flash 《A tale of the Spirit“年”》 which tells the students that the Spirit “年” goes around a village and sees what the village people do to welcome her before her coming and how to treat her when meeting her and what they do with their families and relatives. ● play again and ask students to speak out the things what people do in the flash. They must answer like this: People are cleaning their houses; They are shopping; They are hanging the couplets on the gateway; They are set out the firework; They are get together to have a big dinner; The elders are giving red envelopes to the children; T
