Group PresentationsWhat is expected: communication, appreciation creativity Group work assignment  Part One The text (required) A. General and detailed understanding of Text A: Text structure+Major points, or Summary of the main idea of the part Culture notes/background information, writing techniques, language style, etc. New and difficult words, key phrases or difficult sentences B. What do you think about a particular point (or points) made in the text or related to the text: Interesting point (s ) . ((your comments on the function or significance of the particular idea(s) from the text)) C. Other things you consider valuable / interesting Work together and allocate work among the members to deal with different parts/points/topics . For example: Overview / introduction : 1 student (3minutes each) Part 1 1-2 students . Part 2 1-2 students ( minutes ) Part 3 … Part 4 … Schedule Assessment Date: This will take 2-4 class-meetings. Your performance will be evaluated. Your presentation is expected to be well-prepared and carefully revised with due attention to the quality . It will be appreciated if it is interesting, original/creative, and interactive. Steps Step 1: Form teams. Write down names of group members. Step 2: Discuss within the team. Form smaller groups. Assignment task to specific group. Step 3: Group discussion. Allocate responsibilities among group members. Step 4: Individual/home work. Step 5: Group work. Discuss and rehearse.
