A Learning Support System of the Mongol Teaching with National Feature Ha Sa Li Lujian (Inner Mongolia Radio and TV University, Huhhot, Inner Mongolia China, 010011) （Email:lilujian0103@）Abstract: Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is located in the northern frontier of China. Many students who are taught in Mongolian and receive distance education mainly inhabit rural and pastoral areas with many natural obstacles and undeveloped economy. They are on a low income and have poor learning conditions. Meanwhile, they encounter the problems of shortage of information and technological resources. As a result, those students have special requirements for the methods and content of learning support. Consequently, it is very important for educational institutions and educators to provide comprehensive learning support service with a variety of means and content in order to meet the requirements of distance education as well as adult students with special cultural background and to solve those problems concerning the economic environment, language and personal qualities of learning subjects. ⅠIntroduction Learning support service (hereafter which is abbreviated to LSS) refers to a variety of activities supplied by distance educational institutions (colleges) and teachers for distance learners, whose aim is to help them solve problems and overcome difficulties. It is one of important factors of distance education. To some extent, distance education is a student-centred learning aid service all round. The process of teaching in distance education is to provide comprehensive LSS for students. On the other hand, the process of learning in distance education is that students accept the service. Therefore, whether LSS is perfect, efficient and effective directly influences the quality of distance education.
