“The Shawshank Redemption” Review Splendid Lines: Remember, Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things and no good thing ever dies! I guess it comes down to a simple choice: get busy living or get busy dying. These walls are kind of funny like that. First you hate them, then you get used to them. Enough time passed, get so you depend on them. That’s institutionalized. This film describes that a man who named Andy was erroneous judged to be in the prison for many years. Though the ture reality is that he is innoncent for he didn’t kill his wife and his rival in love, but there was no way for him to set him free.So he began to involve himself in prison.As he is so professional in Bank management ,so the Warden let him to do the money laundering for him.He did this and brings physical award for his cellmate.Finally, he tried his best to make holes which leads to the outside and successfully went out.There are many meaningful point that deserves us to see,but the point that impressed me most is a saying that “These wall are kind of funny like that：First you hate them，then you get used to them，enough time passed，get so you depend on them.Thatsinstitutionalizing” Yes,maybe in addition to praising the courage,this film also tells us what the institutionalizing trully is.In our society,we are all live in an institutionalizing world,we try to make ourself so perfect to suit the so-called institutions,we forget our dream,we surrender to the so-called reality,maybe we are not trully in the prison,but just think about ourself,what would the difference be?
