Corre po nding author : ZHA O Dayong, Email: zdy - ln @ 163. com) Abstract: The hydrocyclone eparation proce (H SP) , a a tw oinput/ threeoutput y tem w ith uch com plex characteri tic a trong coupling, high nonlinearity and frequent variation of boundary condition , i difficult to be expre ed by an accurate mathematical model. An intelligent control method i therefore propo ed for HSP by integrating the modeling w ith control proce o a to combine the PI control, fuzzy control w ith RBR ( ruleba ed rea oning) . Then, the CAC( ca cade averaging controller) ba ed on the fuzzy control algorithm for the liquid level in pumping ump and ore f eeding pre ure of hydrocy clone, the control of abnormal liquid level ba ed on RBR, the w itching controller for lurry pump peed and the PI control for the ore feeding concentration by hydrocyclone are all av ailable to implement . The application re ult in a large cale dome tic beneficiation plant revealed that the method propo ed can tabilize the H SP eff ectively w ith particle izing index ev idently improved.
