Benchmarking: Process of seeking out the best performing products/services (performance benchmarking) and learning how these products/ services are produced (process benchmarking). Process Simulation: Manual and automated methods of predicting the performance of a product/service/process prior to piloting/ implementation. Design Scorecards: Systematic method of deploying requirements into the design and predicting capability of new design.
