Coming into the classroom, point at the door,ask:What is this? Help the students answer:It is a door. Ask a student: Close the door,please. Then ask another student:Open the door,please. Using gestures to help the Ss understand. Step2.Practice. Get every student to have a book in hand, order them: Open ! Close! Stept3.Presentation. Ask a student:Stand up,please. Then talk with him: How are you?How old are you? What is your father/mother? Who is your good friend ?etc . At last,say:Sit down, please. Step4.Practice. Ask some students: Stand up,please. Sit down,please. Step5.Completation. Answer: It is a door. Close the door. Open the door. Stand up . Sit down. Talk with the teacher. Complete the dialogues. Read and act. Ask the students to cover the speech bubbles,Ss guess what they say according to the pictures. Play the tape for Ss to check.Step5 Reading . Have the Ss read the dialogues together, then ask some pairs to act out . Encourage the Ss to act the dialogues in front of the Bb.
