Teacher point to the chicken and say: I like chicken and draw a smile face beside the chicken .then point the beef and say : I like beef better and draw two smile faces beside it ,finally point to the fish and say I like fish best and draw three smile faces beside it .then summary say so ,my favorite food is fish . Then show the word card “favorite” and then let the students guess what the meaning of favorite? Then lead the students to read the sentence: my favorite food is fish.
