Introduction of LIFE OF PI ：
The film was adapted from a novel of the same name. It was directed by Li An. The movie tells a story about a young man named Pi and a tiger who drifted in the ocean for 227 days.
The movie was first showed in the cinema on the 28, 9, 2012 in New York.
Li won 4 praises in the 85th Oscar with this movie.

Ang Lee, born on the 23, 10, 1954 on Taiwan, a famous director in the movie world.

On the 85th Oscar, he won the Best Director Award with the Life Of Pi. He is the first person of Asian descent to win the Best Director Oscar.
