Part 1 What is your attitude towards the teaching of pronunciation. 3.Children need to be able to distinguish the individual vowels and consonant sounds. 1.It is easier for children to develop good pronunciation than adults. 1.Is it necessary to learn pronunciation? Good pronunciation can helps to make communications successful, and can make words recognition and spelling much more easier . 2.What should be included in teaching pronunciation? (Pronunciation includes, stress, rhythm, and intonation as well as individual sounds. ) For children, is more important to help them to feel the rhythm of language and to understand produce sounds. 3.Is it necessary to test pronunciation and how? It is good for teacher to know how good students pronunciation is and can help learners to know their problems. About how? The criteria of testing should not be “perfection” but “intelligibility”. Children need to develop pronunciation , and is easier for them to study . So , as a teacher , we need to help children and. to be more tolerant with them.
