Teaching Procedures Step 1 Warming-up Greeting students Listen to “Body song”, see who can write down the most words about “parts of the body”. and answer the questions: 1).How many words can you hear? 2).What are they? Step 2 Revision Give some pictures to them .Ask them to say what’s the matter with sb Review some sentence partterns : I have a sore throat . I have a cold. I have a stomachache. I have a sore back. Write some phrases on the blackboard : I have a stomachache.= I have a sore stomach=There is something wrong with stomach Step 3 Presentation Use some pictures to present three ways of having a problem: A: What’s the matter? B: I have a fever I have a toothache I have a headache Step 4 Practice Let’s play a guessing game. (what’ s the matter?) Ask one student to act some activitie, other students guess what’s the matter. The student who wins can get some gifts. Step 5 Presentation When we know sb is ill ,we should give some advice.
