This solved many problems, such as the analog video signal can be intelligently compressed to better utilize the limited bandwidth, less storage space is required for the same quality video and video can be transmitted every where over the IP network. Currently with the IP NGN architecture, IP SAN, intelligent management, video surveillance industry is more than its old age concept. Instead of surveillance products, customers will more focus on Intelligent applications and an open unified communication platform that runs all the services smoothly side by side one one network. This concept is only possible when the IP based products and solutions are deployed extensively. We will also see more and more IT oriented Technologies, IT oriented equipment and IT oriented Application.
