初中英语阅读课教学设计和反思 ?????四、教学设计过程 Period 3 Reading: Disabled? Not Me! Step 1 Warming up 1. Individual work: Show some pictures and great theories about Stephen Hawking and encourage Ss to say something about him. 2. Pair work: Teacher lists some of the successful disabled people on the screen and asks Ss to discuss their careers and inabilities with their partners. 3. Discussion: imagine you were one of the above-mentioned successful people, can you describe the dangers and difficulties you would meet in you daily life and how can you describe the situations. 4.Watch the video Kwan Yin of 1000 Hands (千手观音). Q2: Can you guess why the author chooses it as the title? Q3: What do you think the reading is about, according to the title? (设计说明) 巧妙的利用资料衔接上下文,提出问题。第二、三个问题旨在让学生学会根据文章的标题预测文章内容,并通过下一阶段的阅读来检验学生对标题预测是否正确。在此阶段教师不必纠正学生回答的是否正确,让他们在阅读中自己去判断。 ? ? Step 3 While-reading 1. Individual work: Scan the whole passage and find the answers to the two questions. 1) Who is Zhong Xiaowen? What’s wrong with her? 2) What kind of the magazine Literature of Chinese Blind Children is? (设计说明) 以上两个问题是分别针对文章的第一段和最后几段内容所进行的设问,旨在学生能有目的的进行阅读文章,了解文章的特定信息。 2. Pair work: Listen to the tape and think how many parts the passage can be divided. ? Paragraph Main idea Para 1 ? Para 2 ? Para 3 ? Para 4 ? Para 5 ? Para 6 ? 3. Class work: According to the main idea of each paragraph, ask Ss to divide the whole passage and give the idea of each part.
