New structures: We finally arrived at the park. It is made of steel and is really tall. We learnt a lot about different cultures. Kitty’s classmates Daniel put them on his home page. III. Focus of the lesson and predicted area of difficulty Identify the main idea and the specific information about the trip. Understand how to describe the trip and to express feelings. IV. Teaching procedures Step 1 Lead-in 1. Learn some new words (1) Tell a story of a superboy T: (Show a picture of a superboy.) Look! A superboy called Ben was living in the space. He was doing fine there. But he wanted to visit the Earth. The Earth was quite far away and he flew for a long time. Of course the journey was a little boring. (Show a picture of the sky.) He saw the sun shining in a clear blue sky, and he knew he finally arrived at the Earth. He couldn’t wait to get off his spaceship. (Show four pictures of the places of interest.)He saw many places of interest like the White House, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Great Wall and the Eiffel Tower. They were wonderful. He couldnt believe his eyes. He saw the main sights of the world in just one day. (show a picture of a home page) He decided to put some photos of the trip on his home page. He said, “How amazing the Earth is! I enjoy myself! I want to visit the Earth again.
