ABSTRACTNecessityofthearch settingfor compositeliningstructureonthethreelandtunnelhasbeenthefocusofacademicdebate:《Specificationsfordesignofhighwaytunnel》(JTGD70-2004) thinkthatinvertedarchplaysthekeyroleinthestabilityoftunnelforⅢgradeofhighwaytunnel,weshouldsetinvertwith45cmthickness;however,《Designrulesofhighwaytunnel》(JTG/TD70-2010)thinkwecannotsettheinvertedarch, whichisatthebottomoftunnelwithbettersurounding-rockconditions,suchasⅢ1、Ⅲ2grade.However,Ⅳ1suroundingrockshouldbesetinvertedarchwith45cmthickness.Thiswillnotonlybringgreatdifficultiestothedesignofhighwaytunnel,andtheconstructionofinvertedarchitselfhighcost,constructiondifficulty,tunnelbottomisthemostseriouspartofthediseases.Soithasanimportantpracticalsignificancethatresearchingonspecificconditionstocanceltheinvertedarch,putting forwardtotakethebottomsupportingmeasurestothisproblem.Paper analysesthetwothemes.Inthispaper,authorusesthenumericalsimulationmethodofFLAC3D toanalysiseverystagesofⅣ1andⅢ2tunnelsupportdesign,especiallyresearchontheeffectofinvertedarchandevenputforwardtwokindsofnewsupportschemestoinsteadofit.Forexample,cross-beam andfoundation-beam,whichareatthebottomofflattunnel,areusedtoreplacetheinvertedarchsetting.Therefore,wecanselectthesamefieldconditionsofⅣ1andⅢ2graderocksectionasthetestsection,respectivelyestablishesfourmodels:(1)51mflattunnel;(2)51minvertedarchtunnel; (3) 51mflattunnelwithcross-beam;(4)51mflat tunnel with foundation-beam. Contrast test content including: the verticaldisplacement、surroundingrockstress、plasticzone、theaxial forceofbolt、secondliningstructureetc. Getthe followingmainconclusion.Invertedarchwilldecreasethedisplacementatthebottomoftunnelby9.225%~10.597%;makeplasticzonevolumeofthetunnelsurroundingrockreduceby12.803%~43.478%;buttheeffectswhichincludeinvertedarchtunnelbearsboltaxialforceandinhibites vaultdeformationforce,itisnotobvious;Inthe surrounding rock section ofthree land Ⅳ1 tunnel, fromthe numericalsimulationtoconsidertheabolitionof archisnotappropri
