Design on GPS-Based Radio Range Finding System AbstractRange finding technology is a key technology extensively used in radar, navigation,communication, position, industrial logging systems, etc.As navigation technology and radio communication technology advance at full speed, people put forward increasing demand on precision, extent, and anti-interference of range finding. Meanwhile, range finding system requires large operation distance, high range finding precision, and fast responding speed, necessitating improving performance of traditional range finding technology.Aimed at requirements on high-precision radio range finding, the paper is focused on design on the GPS-based radio range finding system. The system can be generally applied to producing and living areas such as aviation, aerospace, transportation, logistics, communication, etc., which is of great value on researching and using.On the basis of composition and navigation principle of GPS, the paper put forward a GPS-based radio range finding scheme.Hardware designing is mainly conducted on a SDT11-module based receiving unit, a SSC-module based radio transmission unit, a Flash-module based data storage unit and an AVP single chip ATmega16A based control unit, together with relevant peripheral circuit designing of power supply, USB port, electric level conversion, etc.Software-free designing is mainly conducted on a serial port reading module, a range calculating module, a data storage module, a display module, etc., realizing functions like reading data, measuring position, calculating range, storing data, etc.Test result shows that measuring range of the GPS-based radio range finding system is not less than 7 km, and precision of range finding is less than 15m, generally solving the problem of high-precision real-time range finding on long distance condition.Key words: GPS, radio range finding, radio transmission, data storage目录第一章 绪论........................................................... 11.1
