Research of double electrode electro slag Purification technology ofAluminum alloyAbstractThedevelopmentofmodernscienceandtechnologyputhigherrequesttoAluminum alloy.Thealuminumofhighpurityandhighthermalconductivity,goodplasticityand toughnesshasbecometheimportantmaterialsofaviationindustry,automobileindustry.The quality of aluminumalloy mainly dependsonthecastingquality,reducingthegasand inclusion is the key of the quality.ThepaperstudiedtheZL101,ZAlSi6Cu3MgZL205Abycitingtheprincipleof electro-slagcasting(ESC)andthemethodofdoubleelectrodeselectricfluxpurification,at thesametime,researchedthetechnologicalparameterandeffectofpurification.Inthecourse of the study, we came to the following conclusions:Thefluxusedinthisexperimentalprocessdoesnotreactwithliquid,andtheywon’t dissolveeachother.Themeltingpointofthethreekindsofmixturebelowthetemperatureof aluminumwhenbepurified.Thefluxcanformacontinuoussurfacelayer,becauseofgood fluidity,andcoverthesurfaceofAluminum,whichcanstoptheinvasionofthehydrogenin theair,andcanadsorption,dissolvedorbrokeAl2O3andsoon,allofthismeetwiththe requirement of aluminum alloy purification.ThepaperanalyzedthecompositionofAluminumbyDirect-ReadingSpectrograph, and came to the conclusions as follow: thecontent ofelements inAluminumlike Si、Fe is not changed,butthecontentofMgelementchangedalot.Atthesametime,wefoundthat,theMgelementinZL205reducedabout48% for heating after purification.Aftertheelectricfluxpurificationtreatment,thetensilestrengthofZL101reached286.8MPa,exceededthatofbeforepurification,theelongationalsoincreasedalitter;the tensilestrengthandelongationofZAlSi6Cu3Mgwereincreasedalotafterpurification;after purification,thetensilestrengthofZL205islowerthanbefore,andtheelongationislowertoo.Whenaddedtheinter-alloyofAl—5Tiafterpurificationandtesteditsphysicalproperty,wefoundthatthetensilestrengthisequaltothatofbefore,andelongation,buttheelongation reached11%,increased100%.ThepaperensuredthatelectricityhadgreateffectonthecontentofMginZL101 alloy,t
