This report will introduce about the company’s structure and the the benefits of merger. Give some suggestion and plan for the companys arrangement and development after re-structure and merger. Findings The organization structure at present Before merger, the BBE Company exist a flat structure which is the presently operated structure. Flat Organizational Structure has characteristic of decentralised companies with relatively few layers of management and relatively wide spans of control. Flat structures have few levels but wide spans of control. Results in quick communications but can lead to overworked managers. It could be described as hybrid structure. A hybrid structure will include element of both matrix and functional organization. The advantage of this approach is that it may be adaptable to changing business circumstances. Disadvantages are that it may lead to staff being confused about what their responsibilities. In this case David operates a centralized line structure. He liked run a tight ship and allocate the work. When Neil gives more free, David also feels unhappy. Neil operating a decentralized team approach. He approached more flexible and always worked with team in the same office.
