I thoroughly enjoyed studying Chinese language and culture at Tianjin Normal University this semester. It was a fantastic opportunity to accelerate my learning and to get an insight into the Chinese way of life. Due to the excellent teaching standard at the university I improved my language skills significantly whilst also getting a chance to explore China. I appreciate the support and additional activities the university provided, such as the English Corner, a talent show, a city tour and a river cruise. The highlights of my trip include camping on the Great Wall of China, seeing the Terracotta Warriors and playing Australian Rules Football for Beijing against Shanghai.
