Module 8 Different habits Unit 1 Tony always likes birthday parties. 上课教师 学生年级 初一 教材 《英语》(新标准) 课时 一课时 教 学 设 计 教学内容 Unit 1 Tony always likes birthday parties. 教材分析 The unit is focused on practicing the students’ listening and speaking ability, the vocabulary as well as the sentence structure is hard for the students to grasp. Sufficient examples and drilling are necessary. 教学目标 To get to know the adverbs of frequency. To understand the dialogue involving “Tony’s birthday”. To be able to pronounce verbs ending with 3rd person singular form. To be able to describe what people do on their birthday 教学重点 Lead-in the vocabulary, especially the adverbs of frequency. Enable the students to get familiar with the structure expressing one’s habits “Lingling usually has a party.” 设计思路 Encourage the students to talk with each other to practice the sentence structure elicited by the listening materials. Task-based interviewing is a better way for students to practice speaking. 教师活动 学生活动 教 学 流 程 教 学 流 程 情 景 导 入 Ask the students whose birthday is coming and what birthday presents he/ she would like, thus the unit is introduced. Individual work: Think about one’s own birthday.
