人类对世界的认识，往往是一个从简单到复杂、从熟悉到陌生、从具体到抽象的过程。“近取诸身，远取诸物”，人们用清楚的、具体的经验来建构复杂的、抽象的概念，人们往往用比较熟悉的概念描述、认知、定义和理解比较陌生的事物，从而认识自身和客观世界。隐喻是人们认识自身及世界的一个重要途径，由此隐喻也引起了语言学者的大量关注，无论中外都出现了很多研究隐喻的文章。这些文章从各个方面对隐喻作了分析，如，空间隐喻研究、人体词隐喻研究、动作隐喻研究等等。但对汉语含金属词的词语进行认知分析和隐喻研究的文章，除王姝丹、孙燕琳（2010）从认知的角度对“金”词群中的成语进行分析之外并未有学者对含常用金属的词语这一大类做研究，本文正是基于这一点而写的，正好可以弥补这一空白。本文的研究目的是：通过对汉语含有金、银、铜、铁等金属词的词语隐喻，得以证实：1.人类的认知源于身体经验和日常生活经验。2.分析汉语含金、银、铜、铁等金属词的词语的本义及隐喻义异同及原因。3.分析汉语含金、银、铜、铁等金属词的词语的隐喻映射过程。我们发现金、银、铜、铁四种金属是通过映射的方式来构建非金属概念的，金、银、铜、铁虽都是金属，但它们的隐喻义以及映射过程却不尽相同。这种异同的存在体现了认知的一个规律：人类的认知活动根植于日常的身体体验，金、银、铜、铁同为金属，大部分的性质是一样的，即具有金属的共性，所以会有相同的地方；而不同是由于金、银、铜、铁四种金属本身所具有的特性。关键词：认知；隐喻；金属AbstractHumanunderstandstheworld,oftenfromsimpletocomplex,fromthefamiliartotheunfamiliar,fromtheconcretetotheabstract.Takenfromthebodynearandfartotakeallthings,peopleuseclearandspecificexperiencetoconstructthedescriptionofcomplex,abstractideas.Peopletendtousemorefamiliarconcepttodescribe,cognize,defineandunderstandthestrangethings.Thustheyunderstandthemselvesandtheobjectiveworld.Metaphorisanimportantwayforpeopletorecognizetheirownandtheworld.Sothemetaphorisalsoattractedbylinguists.TherearesomanyarticlessearchedaboutmetaphorbothfromChinaandabroad.Thesearticlesanalyzedmetaphorfromvariousaspects,suchasspatialmetaphor,bodymetaphor,actionmetaphorandsoon.ButarticlescognizeandanalyzeonChinesewordscontainmetal,orarticlesresearchonmetaphor,exceptWangShudanandSunYanlin(2010)analyzedidiomsonthegoldwordgroupsfromthecognitiveperspective,therewereneverscholarsdidresearchonthesewordscontaincommonmetal.Thisthesisarticleiswrittenbasedonthis,justtomakeupfortheblank.Thepurposeofthispaperis:toconfirmthefollowingthreepointsthroughthemetaphoronChinesemetalwordscontaingold,silver,copperandironetc.:1.Humanbeingscognitionoriginsfrombodyexperienceanddailylifeexperience.2.Analyzetheoriginalmeaningofmetalwordscontaingold,silver,copper,ironetc.,andthesimilaritiesanddifferencesbetweentheirmetaphoricalmeaningandthecauses.3.Analyzethemetaphormappingprocessofmetalwordscontainsgold,s
