ABSTRACTAstotheproblemsforthefailingaeroenginehigh-ATEMperatureforgingmouldrepairedwithlasercladdingtechnology,accordingtotheresearchforlasercladdingmoldrepairscrapironbasealloypowder,processparametersoflasercladdingonorganizationalstructureandperformancewasstudied.ThemicrostructureandpropertiesofcoatingpreparedbylasercladdingarestudiedbymeansofOM,SEM,XRDandATEM.Theresultsunderconditionofnarrowlasercladdingtechnologyandothertechnologicalparametersarefixed,thehardnessofthecladdingcoatingchangeswithinacertainofrangewithincreaseofthescaningspeed.However,sincenarrowlasercladdinghasmoreoverlappingzones,leadingtomoresoftband,furthermore,performancelifeisinfluenced.Broadbandlasercladdingisagoodwaytogetbettercladdinglayerwhichhasgoodmicrostructureandhardness.Theoptimumtechnologicalparametersofbroadbandlasercladdingisasfollowed:f=315mm,P=3kW，V=3mm/s，d=3×15mm2.Undertheconditionofoptimumtechnologicalparameters,thetransitionofmicrostructureissmoothincladdingcoating.Thewhitebrightbandisplanecrystalsinthebondingzone.Cellularcrystalsisobtainedinthebottomofcladdingcoating.Themicrostructurefromthecentertothesurfaceofcladdingcoatingtransformesfromdendriticcrystalsandcolumnarcrystalstoequiaxedcrystals.Thematrixphaseincladdingcoatingisα-Fe,acertainamountofamorphousalloysandintermetallicsasNi-Cr-Fe,Fe-Cr,Fe-Niaredistributedonthematrixphase,sogoodhardness,wearresistance,hightemperaturecorrosionresistanceandablationpropertyofthecladdingcoatingcanbeguaranteed.Thehardnessofsurfaceisrelativelylow,nearsurfaceabout0.3mmthehardnessisincreasedobviously,thenfrom0.3mmto0.9mmthehardnesskeepsstableincrease,intheH.A.Zthehardnesshasthemaximum,upto810HV0.2,thenitdropsquickly.Compoundcoatingwithgoodwearresistance,highhardnesswhichcanaffordloadeffectively,havesmallerwearunderthesameload.CompoundcoatinghasgoodresistancetohighATEMperatureoxidation,surfaceoxidationlayerconsistofB2O3,Cr2O3andSiO2,spinelFeCr2O4andamorphousalloyconstantoxidationrateisreasonforreducealloyoxidationrate.Alsohasgoodhightemperature
