Reference AutoCAD assemblies, located in the product install folder. acdbmgd.dll - ObjectDBX .NET Managed Wrapper, includes IExtensionApplication. acmgd.dll - AutoCAD .NET Managed Wrapper, includes CommandClass and CommandMethod attributes. Reference the required ACA assemblies, depending on your needs. The ObjectARX Wizard adds the two AutoCAD assemblies automatically, but not the ACA ones. They need to be added manually. * * There are some ambiguities between AutoCAD.NET and ACA.NET class names, for instance DBObject and Entity are available in several different namespaces. These can be easily resolved where needed using aliases. * * How to create new Aec entities? Similar to standard AutoCAD.NET: create the object, define its properties, add it to model space, and add it to the transaction. * What kind of objects can be created? Look at MgdDbgAec.
