Use the four pictures in Page 41 to have a review of these great civilizations. Then ask the Ss whether they know Pompeii and Loulan and they have been there. 2. Ask the Ss to listen to an e-mail written by Ann who has been to Pompeii and Loulan and fill in the blanks. Jane, I was so excited to be picked to __________ Canada.
