It was just like science fiction coming to life. Part 2 (para.2~para. 3)??? The two paragraphs are about the strong and immediate responses to the background situation mentioned in the first paragraph. Part 3 (para.4~para. 18) In this part the author lists as many as 6 puzzles or questions on the issue of cloning. The 6 puzzles are: 1) Why would anyone want to clone a human being in the first place? 2) Will it be possible to clone the dead? 3) Would a cloned human be identical to the original? 4) What if parents decided to clone a child in order to harvest organs? 5) How would a human clone refer to the donor of its DNA? 6) What are the other implications of cloning for society? All the 6 questions are about the legal and moral implications of cloning. We can find that the questions are provided with complete or partial answers from the up-to-date knowledge. . Part 4 (para.19)It is a reiteration that the list of questions could go on and people are just beginning to wonder about the future of the world after cloning. II. Language points At first it was just plain surprising. Meaning: At the very beginning the news that an adult mammal had been successfully cloned was obviously a shock to people. Word last week that a scientist named Ian Wi
