which include two aspects: (1) The effect of thermal capacity on the cutting temperature. The atoms with large radius soluted in the GDL-4 made the thermal capacity decrease. So when the material absorbed the same heat quantity, the temperature increased higher with lower thermal capacity.(2) The effect of thermal conductivity on the cutting temperature. The heat quantity was hard to emanate with lower thermal conductivity, which induced the heat quantity accumulated. The cutting temperature was higher with lower thermal capacity and thermal conductivity.Thirdly, the efffect of carbides on the cutting temperature. (1) The fracture toughness property of the carbides in GDL-4 was not as good as M2, when the carbides was concidered as the origin of crack, it’s propitious to cut. But the cutter wear seriously when carbides failed.
