AbstractToenhancethesystemthroughput,EGPRS2standard,whichadoptsnewcoded modulationschemes(MCS),isintroducedtoRe-7byGERANgroup.However,the complexityofreceiverequalizeranddemodulationalgorithmisincreased.Tosolve thisproblem,PrecodedEGPRS2technologyisproposedintheconferenceofGERAN#45and#46.Inthispaper,thecodedmodulationschemesofPrecodedEGPRS2 systemandrelatedtechnologiesareinvestigated,basedonwhichcorresponding improvementschemesispresented.Importantly,afterabriefintroductionofPrecodedEGPRS2,thedecodingofthe channelcodingalgorithmandthereceivingendconstellationsoftdemodulation schemearestudied.Moreover,theoverallsystemlinkisformulatedandsimulations are performed over typical channels.BasedontheGSMnetworkchanneltransmissioncharacteristics,anewDFT lengthschemeisproposed,whichsignificantlyreducesthecomputationalcomplexity whilehavingnoimpactonthesystemperformance.Furthermore,basedonthe importanceofdifferencesbetweenheaderanduserdata,anewsymbolmappingcycle shiftprogramisproposed,whichcangreatlyimprovedheaderdataperformancewith lower user data performance degradation.Inrespecttothenewstandardsinthecodemodulation,themixedmode modulation(MMM)schemeandpaddedhighordermodulationscheme(P-HOM)are provided.Specially,theMMMschemecandecreasethesymbolerrorrateoftheedge ofthesignalbandwidthforthesubcarriersinalargescalebyusingdifferent modulationordertoadjustthetransmissioncharacteristics.P-HOMschemecanbe dividedintothreeparts:ZP(ZeroPadded),RP(RepeatPadded),andRPT(Turbo Repeat Padded), among which RPTscheme can improve significantly the system sensitivity and co-channel interference (CCI) performance.Keywords: Precoded EGPRS2 OFDM Burst mapping MCS目录第一章绪论.....................................................................................................................11.1 本文研究背景....................................................................................................11.2 发展现状....................................................................................
