The results showed that:ForQiXia,onthecountyscale,CVvaluewas51.35%,andthespatialdistributionwas randomdistribution;onthetownscale,Yangchutown’sdistributionwasuniformly, Tangjiapo,Songshan,ZangjiazhuangandCuipingstreetfourtownswereclusterdistribution,other towns belonged to randomdistribution.ForLiJin,onthecountyscales,CVvaluewas100.55%,andthespatialdistributionwas cluster distribution; on the town scale, all towns’ distribution were cluster.Differentdistributioncharacteristicsofruralresidentialareasintwocountieshaveclose relations to different topography, resources distribution and economic and social conditions.UsingtheGISspatialanalysisfunctionwerealizedthequantitativestudyofthe relationshipbetweenruralresidentialareasandterrain,water,trafficandtown.Theresult shewthat:inmountainarea,terrainisthemacroscopicbackgroundoftheruralresidential areasdistribution,whichdirectlyrelatedtothesizeandshapeoftheruralresidentialareas. Meanwhile,thedistributioncharacteristicswerecomprehensiveinfluencedbyroad,water, andurban.Inplainarea,withouttheboundofterrain,theruralsettlements’areaswerelarger thanthatofmountainareas,manywerenearwaterandroad,wherefactoriesandminesand towns were around.Fromecologicalconditions,productionconditionandlivingconditionsaspects,11 indexwereselectedtoconstructlandsuitabilityindexsystem,forsinglefactorquantitative analysisandmulti-factorscomprehensivesuitabilityanalysisoftheruralresidentialareas. Thestudyareaweredividedintokeydevelopment-orientedruralresidentialareas,moderate redevelopmenttype,restrictedexpansiontypeandprioritycontroltype.Accordingtothe characteristicsofallkindsofruralresidentialareas,weputforwardoptimalregulation measures and countermeasures.
