Based on a variety of reasons, the privacy of publc figures is apparently not treatted as general. In our country, the privacy of public figures have some judicial practice on the breakthrough, but there are still some significant legislative defects. Through to public figures privacy protection and restriction on two aspects of research, with a view to our country in the system for some helps.This paper is divided into three parts. Firstly, through to ”the public figure”,”the privacy of public figure”,the comparation to “the general privacy”, pointed out definition and the characteristic that the right to privacy of the public figures, and to adopt a classification method in the theory of the public figure. Secondly, by the two aspects that the protect and limit to the privacy of public figures. Analysis of the reasons, discusses the scope of protection and restriction of content. Lastly, based on the study of two questions in front.
