AbstractAstheprocessofglobalizationbecomingfaster,eachcountryhasbeenpayingmoreattentiontotheimageofitself.Afinecountryimageisoneofthemeanstoreflectthecomprehensivenationalstrength.Thus,thestatusofthepresspublicityhasbecomemoreandmoreimportant,whichgivesrisetomoreattentiononthetranslationofthepresspublicity.Doubtlessness,anexcellenttranslationofthepresspublicitycandeliverthecomprehensiveandcorrectinformationtoforeignpeople,wipeoffthebiasedperspectivesaboutournation,improvethecommunicationbetweenmutualcountries,establishbilateralprofitsandbenefits,andimprovetherelationshipbetweencountries.Lookingbackatthehistoryandthepresentofthetranslationofthepresspublicity,wecanfigureoutthatthetranslationcircleshavealreadysenseditsimportance,andgavesomeadvisingthoughtaswell.However,thereisnosystemictheoryorunambiguousstrategytoguidethetranslationofthepresspublicity.Besides,withthedevelopmentofthepresspublicity,therearealsolotsofinappropriatetranslationworksemerging.Accordingtoabovephenomena,thisthesisadoptedtheskopostheorietoanalyzesomeinappropriatetextsonbilingualChinaDailyoninternet,andtrytocorrectthem.Fromtheaboveanalysis,theauthorofthisthesisfinallyworkedoutfourstrategiestoguidethetranslationofthepresspublicity,whichfillsinthevacancyinthisfield.Throughanalyzing,heskopostheorietheorysuitstoguidethetranslationofthepresspublicity,meanwhile,thefourstrategiesmakethetranslationofthepresspublicitymorestandard.KeyWords:Skopostheorie,translationofthepresspublicity,translationstrategies,ChinaDaily摘要随着全球一体化进程加快，国家越来越注重其自身形象，良好的国家形象是体现国家综合实力的途径之一。由此，报刊外宣的地位渐渐显露，报刊外宣翻译的重要性更毋庸置疑。优秀的报刊外宣翻译可使外国友人对中国有全面准确的了解，并能更正一些偏颇的观点，对树立良好的国家形象，传播中国民族文化具有积极的意义。回顾了报刊外宣翻译的历史及现状，我们可以看出翻译界已经认识到报刊外宣翻译的重要性，而且也提出了一些指导思想，但始终没有一个系统完备的理论进行指导。鉴于此，本文以功能派目的论为理论基础，以中国日报网络双语版为语料，实证分析了其中不恰当的译例，并试以改正。通过分析，本文得出功能目的论优于其他理论，适用于指导报刊外宣翻译，使报刊外宣翻译更加规范。本文在功能理论指导下，通过对政治外宣、经济外宣及人文外宣中实际翻译例子的词汇、句子、段落进行具体分析，最终得出行之有效的四项翻译策略，即删除、增译、重构和限制。希望这四项翻译策略能够对报刊外宣翻译有所规范，并且能够解决报刊外宣翻译无序的境况。关键词:目的论；报刊外宣翻译；翻译策略；中国日报ContentsAcknowledgements……………………………………
