one-dimensionaloptimizationalgorithmmainlyaimsatsolvingnon-probabilisticreliabilityindexwithexplicitlimitstateequation;however,ifanalyticalexpressionisnotavailable,then,itisunabletohavesolution.Therefore,thisdissertationexploresnon-probabilisticresponsesurfaceanalysis(RSA)basedonfiniteelement;themethodcaneffectivelysolvenon-probabilisticreliabilityindexwithundefinedstructureinlimitstateequation.ThedissertationalsoproposesFailurePointOptimizationMethodbasedonfiniteelement,whichisofnoneedsforlargenumbersofFEM(FiniteElementMethod)anditerations.Themethodcanwildlybeappliedinstructuralevaluationofnon-probabilisticreliability.Bridgeisacomplexstructurewithrelativelylargevariables.Ifwewanttofindsolutionofnon-probabilisticreliabilityindexwithconsiderationofeachvariableasintervalvariable,theworkloadwillbeverylargeandsometimesitevencouldnotbecalculated.Simultaneously,largehumanandfinancialresourceswouldbeconsumedifeachvariableofbridgeweretobemeasured.Therefore,itprovidesevidenceforvariablesofnon-probabilisticreliabilityevaluationandguidancetoon-sitemeasurement.Atonetime,byjudgingmonotonicityofeachparameterandprovidingsupportsforalgorithmofnon-probabilisticreliabilityindexbasedonfiniteelement,thedissertationmakessensitivityanalysisforparameters.Introducingnon-probabilisticreliabilitytheoryintoexistingbridge,establishingnon-probabilisticreliabilityevaluationsforlimitstateofcarryingcapacityandnormalconditionofexistingbridge,andapplytheminrealbridges.Byconsideringtimevaryingofconcretecarbonation,concretestrength,steelcorrosion,corrodedsteelstrengthandloadsofcarsandcrowdssynthetically,thedissertationestablishesdynamicnon-probabilisticreliabilitymodelbasedoncarryingcapacitylimitstateandpredictsitslife.Simultaneously,basedoncontrolstocrackwidthanddeflectionofnormallimitstate,itproposestheconceptofstagelifeprediction.Finally,thedissertationmakespredictiontooverallandstagelifeofrealbridgerespectively.Bymakingresearchestoanti-optimizationdesignofexistingbridge,itestablishestwotypesofanti
