How’s it going? Great!
(2) Aims of the abilities
A. Learn how to describe the weather and how to describe what you are doing.
B. Learn to use some words to express your feeling, such as not bad, great, terrible, and pretty good.

ⅣTeaching Procedures Step1 Revision 1 Look at the picture and fill in the blanks using the phrases which they learnt in last unit.

2 Ask the Ss to make dialogues.
e.g. A: What are you doing? B: I’m reading a book. A: Do you want to go to the movies. B: Sure, when do you want to go? A: Let’s go.
3 Play an English song named Raining
Step 2 Presentation
1 Show the pictures of the weather, and ask the Ss how the weather likes.
Let the Ss read after me about those sentences and practice them.
Explain the grammar focus “What are you/they doing?” Give some examples and let the Ss practice.
Show SS the pictures of faces and match the word with it . E.g. Not bad, Great, Terrible, Pretty good.
