Twenty six years of experience as a university professor in both the United States and internationally in five countries. Five years of experience in the development of programs for the education of children with disabilities, especially blindness. Five years of experience in human resources management including training. A demonstrated record of accomplishment in international teaching and education program development, including two selections by the United States government as a Fulbright Scholar in Belarus and India respectively. International experience working in Russia, Belarus, India, Afghanistan and China. Strong skills in program development and implementation in the areas of education, literacy and disability education. Excellent interpersonal skills, especially in cross-cultural and international settings. An ability to understand cultural differences and to adapt teaching methods to different cultures and students. Outstanding verbal, presentational and writing skills. Good fund-raising skills and a record of success in this area. Enthusiasm and the ability to convey this enthusiasm to students and motivate them to learn. A strong and demonstrated commitment to working for peace, international friendship and mutual understanding among people throughout the world. Computer literacy, including knowledge of Windows, word processing, spreadsheets and the Internet. Native English speaker. Language skills in Russian and French.
