The tarsal gland adenoma is the most frequently diagnosed eyelid tumor in the dog. Less commonly found are adenocarcinomas,melanomas and papillomas. *　　　　 The tarsal gland adenoma, as with most tumors of the canine eyelid,is clinically benign,and surgical excision is usually curative.
