On Training High School Students’ English Listening Comprehension Ability Abstract: Listening is considered to be one of the most difficult skills in English learning. The high school students have some common problems of English listening, for example: the lack of interests in English listening, the lack of background knowledge of English, the lack of listening skills and so on. The core of this thesis is to discuss the corresponding skills of eliminating the obstacles in listening comprehension ability. Introduction The final goal of mastering a language is to communicate with others, using the skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing.
